BILLY HARGROVE Abandoned by his father after his mother's departure at the age of thirteen, Billy was left alone on the streets of London. He joined up with a gang of other kids and learned how to be tough and fend for himself from some of the older teens. After a spat with the self-proclaimed leader, Billy left his original group and found Jonathan Byers, Will Byers, Mickey Milkovich, and Richie Tozier. He took honest labor work where he could find it, but the market is small and his reputation as a playboy sowed mistrust among the wealthy, married men who usually hired someone like him. Thus, most of what he has he gets through stealing, gambling, and swindling. Seeking new opportunity, he posed as an engine worker to get a free ride aboard the Titanic. Billy doesn't trust anyone outside of his "family", and has a lot of disdain for the upper class (who he takes great pleasure in shocking and offending). He's known to be very defensive of his gang, and will get physical if anyone tries to mess with them.
